I actually went into the chapel to play Reuben some of the worship songs I had been writing, and came out with one of his to work on... It's funny how that happens... BUT it's always an honour to write with others, and I LOVE the direction this song ended up taking. There is nothing more powerful as a worship leader than to declare the faithfulness of God over people's lives, to remind them that our God reigns, truly reigns...and that He cares enough for each of our lives to be STRENGTH for us all.

So we got to the Arena on time BUT because it was open to the General public, we were waiting outside for over and hour at the door because the Arena was PACKED!!!!!

Hillsong Conference 2010 is happening this year in Sydney at the ACER ARENA from July the 5th to the 9th. People across the globe will gather there to worship and receive an encounter and a revelation from God, to go back and champion the cause of the local church. The experience is definitely extraordinary and encourage you all to be there at least once. Here is a short footage of Hillsong Executives discussing the purpose of Hillsong Conference in one of the many weeks they gather together. Darlene Zschech, Joel Houston are the two executives in the video.

Hillsong Live - A Beautiful Exchange will be released this coming early July weekend.

It has come to our attention that the new 2010 album of Hillsong Live - A Beautiful Exchange Download has been leaked online. People across the world are already downloading the album but its a low quality leak. I would encourage all to purchase the album in support of Hillsong ministry. It helps finance their local church movements.

The website THISMEANSLOVE Blog offers a collection of Hillsong Live CD + DVD online from the album Faith + Love + Hope. There's updated information from this website about Hillsong; just from browsing the forums it can be seen that 1-2 people from Hillsong Church are running the forums. It also has a user-friendly forum that allows users to discuss their interests.

Another big christian media website is ChristianSonic. It has a lot of major and minor artists that have gained recognition to the ears of christian audience. Much informative information about Hillsong too. The website is very aesthetically pleasing to the eyes.

Interesting Facts:

- Joel Houston mentions within the video that even towards minutes before recording night that they are unsure about the lyrics!

- The song "Believe" sung by Darlene Zschech in the upcoming Hillsong Live - A Beautiful Exchange album has a different musical arrangement on the CD to the DVD.

- The song "You" sung by Hillsong United's frontman Joel Houston has changed the a part of its song lyrics AFTER the track recording at 1:50 minutes from "make my life transparent" to "make me more transparent" which sounds more fitting and easier to sing. Something to keep in mind if you're teaching this song in your local church.

- Hillsong Live - The First and the Last lyrics changed during post production. At the live recording, the second last line sings "God of all days, Lord there is no one like You" is what we currently here on the CD "Calling the light, with all the earth we will sing". There's more to it as mentioned in the COMMENT section. Pay attention to the lyrics:

- Hillsong post-production team for album recordings has proven to be awesome. In Hillsong Live - 'God One and Only' the drums part in the bridge is different to the track recording off the album FAITH + HOPE + LOVE. Watch the camcorded version of it at the live recording HERE (at 1:23 minutes onwards) and compare it with the actual track recording HERE.

Surely by now we realize that live recording albums do require significant post-production work to bring forth quality standards.
